The beam is wide and smooth, allowing photographers to shoot pictures in the toughest conditions without any showing any hot spots. At the same time it offers you the option to use it as a video light if you have video recording features on your camera.

Detailed Description:

The SLX 800i Auto Focus Assist light is the successor of the original SLX LED Focus Light. Key features including versatility, durability, dependability, efficiency, were kept to help underwater photographers take better picture. New features such as the internally adjustable reflector beam that has a wider spread to bring out the colors and enhance the contrast of your subject, allowing your camera to focus better and faster without any hot spots. On top of this, it is now capable of outputting 800 lumens while using only six AA batteries and the output can be manually reduced when you use only three batteries. Unlike most focus lights in the market, the SLX 800i allows photographers to shoot clear and vibrant movies with the new DSLRs and compact cameras with movie mode.

Diffused Beam and Color Temperature - A diffused white 5500k beam will allow you to take closeup photos of objects with virtually no hot spots. It's the ideal to take photos in low or no light environment and is perfect for macros.
Perfect Beam Angle - Choose between 60 degrees or 90 degree beams using the 60 degree reflectors (12 degree beams are included if you wish to use your SLX 800i as a dive light)
Adjustable Output - Reduce the beam output by simply using only three AA batteries in case 800 lumen is too bright under certain conditions.
Ultra Reliable - LED bulbs lasts up to 100,000 hours, operates in a wider range of temperature, and is very unlikely to shut off due to accidental impact. Its precisely machined body and the o-ring design will make flooding the light nearly impossible under proper care.
Topside Photography - The LEDs from the SLX 800i emits very little heat, allowing photographers to use the lights out of the water.
Instant Power - The lights turn up in 100 nanoseconds so you don't have to wait for it to warm up.
Batteries - The SLX 800i uses AA batteries for maximum reliability and minimum maintenance requirements. It is also compatible with rechargeable AA batteries as well as the new AA Lithium/Titanium batteries.
