This 3 x D cell battery holder allows you to use Alkaline or Rechargeable D cell batteries instead of using 18AA batteries. It's a great accessory to have for holding spare batteries. The expected burn time from 3D Cell batteries is approximately 5 to 18 hours, meaning that it'll burn at the high output for 5 hours and then slowly dim down for up to 18 hours.
