Application Guide:  Below are some attachments for your housing and a brief description of how they work. While some popular combos are shown here you may also customize your combo or find other available options in the general store catalog under photo/video lights and photo/video arms.  Feel free to call or email us if you have any questions.

Ikelite housings can be divided into three categories. 

1.  Compact cameras - These cameras would use the tray setup which can use either the flex arm or the ball joint arm for focus/video lights or strobes.

2.  Full size cameras/ DSLR housings - Typically Ikelite's full size housings use their quick release handles to connect 1" ball joint arm setups as strobe arms.  Ikelite does not have a hot shoe adapter so if you're using two strobe arms already and want to add a focus light to your setup, you would choose the triple clamp that will allow you to clamp the focus/video light at the base of one of your strobe arms.   We offer both the t-base adapter and a ball joint adapter for Ikelite's quick release handle so you can choose which setup you would like to go with.

3.  Ikelite video housings - Ikelite's video housings use handles that have a twist off knob on it.  The male thread on the handle is 3/8" and we have a t-base (nl-flex-3816) adapter and a ball joint (nl-ul-ad-3816) adapter for that as well.  Both adapters will replace the "X" shaped knob on the top of the handle.
