Nocturnal Lights offer a line of technical dive lights and video lights that is favored by search and rescue divers as well as search and recovery divers. Some of the unique aspects of our product design is our focus on reliability and maneuverability to help you perform your rescue operations in the toughest conditions.
Use It Above and Below Water
Nocturnal Lights' line of LED dive lights can be used above and below water. Use it as a flash light while you're out of the water and jump into the water with it whenever you are ready.
Compact and Powerful
Nocturnal Lights offers some of the most powerful lights that will penetrate water in areas with low-visibility, allowing SAR divers to maximize your ability to see underwater.
Conventional Batteries
The fact that can use AA batteries gives you the option to choose between alkaline and rechargeable batteries. Unlike larger battery packs, the lights will never fail due to a failure of the charger, proprietary battery pack, or the chip on the battery. When using Alkaline AA batteries you can keep it on the shelf for months or even years in between dives. The lights will turn on when you need it without having to recharge the battery before each dive or cycle the battery in between dives. As a search and rescue diver you will enjoy the ability to just grab your gear and respond to an emergency without having to worry about whether or not the batteries have been discharged on the shelf. Low-discharge rechargeable AA batteries are also available in the market.
Impact Resistant
The combination of LED bulbs, aluminum housing, tempered glass, and the impact absorbing ring built around the light canister will prevent the light from shutting off or breaking upon impact.
Hand Mounted Lights for Maximum Maneuverability
Nocturnal Lights offer a line of hand mounted lights so you can dive or swim without having to hold on to your light with one of your hands. These light will fit comfortably over your left or right hand using the Neoprene Hand Strap on bare hands or gloves. This will allow you to operate much more effectively without having to grab onto a handle on a traditional dive light. Also, The same strap can also wrap around the shoulder strap of your BC, lighting up your full frontal view without needing to use your hand.
Underwater Photo and Video Lights
Video Light packages for Search and Recovery divers are available under the video lights section of our website. We have a variety of setups that will work with all the compact underwater camera and video housings.
